Dear Friends of Reading to Kids,
Thanks to the 789 kids, 481 volunteers, 138 parents, and 26 teachers and administrators who participated
in the January Reading Clubs! We're looking forward to a great new year with all of you.
The February "Friendship" Reading Clubs are already full! Thank you to everyone who signed up. If
you would like to volunteer at the February Reading Clubs, please check back on our
website for openings
due to cancellations. If you have signed up for the February Reading Clubs but learn you will not be
able to attend, please do
cancel so that someone else may take your place.

ANNUAL ALL TASKFORCE POTLUCK
Please join Reading to Kids on January 20th for our Annual Taskforce Meeting and Open House! If you have always
wanted to be more involved with the operations of Reading to Kids, now is your chance to learn more.
We'll have a dinner/social hour from 7:00 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. and a meeting from 7:45 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
We'll do an overview of each committee and then break out into smaller groups for committee meetings. The meeting will be held at
Esperanza Elementary School.
Please RSVP to let us know if you are able to attend. Please also note what you will bring to the potluck:
an entree, appetizer, salad, dessert, beverages, or utensils. Check the list of people on our Evite
to see what others are bringing.
