Dear Friends of Reading to Kids,

Reading to Kids is delighted to welcome Lisa Flores as our new Program Director!

Lisa is coming to us from Free Arts for Abused Children, an organization where community volunteers inspire hope in the lives of abused, homeless, and at risk children through innovative arts programs. As Program Manager, Lisa coordinated their Free Arts Day Program, organizing volunteers, creating curriculum, securing sponsorships, and more! Lisa is also a board member for the Westside Children's Center, where she has helped plan fundraising events. Before working in nonprofits, Lisa worked for several years in film.

Lisa's volunteer management and program coordination skills fit perfectly with what we do at Reading to Kids.

Lisa can be reached at Lisa.Flores@readingtokids.org.

Welcome, Lisa!

Outgoing Program Director Jessica Tritsch will be with Reading to Kids through August 14th (including the reading clubs and El Cholo on Saturday!) and in town until the end of August.
