CLASSROOM HELPERS NEEDED
Are you looking for volunteer opportunities during the week? Do you want to see what a day in the classroom is like? Now is your chance to visit one of our schools as a classroom helper!
Reading to Kids would like to offer the teacher at each school who recruits the most students to our reading clubs a helper for a day to encourage reading club attendance. Among other things, classroom helpers have the chance to read stories, grade papers, prep assignments, and experience what it's like to be a teacher.
If you are interested in helping out for a day or half day in one of the classrooms, please e-mail Rachel.Zwass@readingtokids.org or call the office at (310) 479-7455. Dates and times are flexible according to your availability. However, if you confirm that you can help out, please make sure you can definitely make it because the teachers will be counting on you that day.
