Greg Behrendt, co-author of the bestseller "He's Just Not That Into You," will join the lineup for Reading to Kids' Tenth Anniversary Comedy Night & Silent Auction on May 9th! Click here to buy your tickets today!
Best-known as the former consultant for "Sex And The City" and co-author of the New York Times Bestseller "He's Just Not That Into You", Greg is a standup comic first and foremost.
Greg's comedy resume includes being featured on HBO, "The Tonight Show," "Late Show w/ David Letterman," Late Night with Conan O'Brien" and Comedy Central. This fall he will be releasing his second comedy DVD called "Greg Behrendt: That Guy From That Thing." He's currently hitting the road with the "Greg Behrendt's Totally Into You Comedy Tour."
Greg joins Iliza Shlesinger, 2008 winner of NBC's "Last Comic Standing," Shang, Bob Oschack, and Mike Phirman.

CROSSWORDS LOS ANGELES TOURNAMENT
Volunteers Needed
The first annual Crosswords Los Angeles Tournament will be held on Saturday, April 25th with proceeds supporting Reading to Kids. The tournament is for puzzlers with a broad range of skills - prizes will be awarded in several categories.
Online registration has ended, but you can still sign up at the door.
They are also looking for volunteers from 10:45 - 12:30 and 1:15 - 2:45. Contact Jessica.Tritsch@readingtokids.org to sign up!
What: One day. Five puzzles. Lunch.
When: April 25th, 2009, 10:00 a.m. to 4 p.m.

FESTIVAL OF BOOKS
Reading to Kids will be joining thousands of community members, hundreds of organizations, and scores of authors at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books.
The Festival of Books is America's largest book festival and takes place once a year on the UCLA campus. The event is free and open to the public on Saturday, April 25th from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Sunday, April 26th from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Reading to Kids will be at Booth 137 in Zone A. We still have a couple of volunteer spots available, click here to see the volunteer shifts.
