Dear Friends of Reading to Kids,
Many thanks to the 307 volunteers who came out for the February reading clubs to read to 715 kids!
Our next reading clubs are March 10th. Volunteer spots are filling up fast, so click here to sign up now!
We have an exciting selection of books about music for March, with lots of fun possibilities for crafts and interactive activities!
- First graders will learn about famous Jazz musicians in Karen Ehrhardt's This Jazz Man, a story with rhyming text that follows the beat of "This Old Man."
- Have you ever wondered where music came from? Third grade will find out one version as they read Hal Ober's How Music Came into the World, based on an ancient Mexican myth.

MUSICIANS WANTED!
The theme for our March 10th reading clubs is "Music," and we need your help to bring the theme to life!
We are looking for groups of musicians to perform a quick show during the close of the reading clubs! Contact Jessica.Tritsch@readingtokids.org if you have a group that would be able and willing to play!
We anticipate a high turnout at our March reading clubs for this special event, and we hope that you will join us as well! Click here to sign up!
