Dear Friends of Reading to Kids,
Thank you to the 215 volunteers who beat the July heat to read to 460 kids at our "Independence" reading clubs on July 8th!
AUGUST READING CLUBS
Click here to sign up for our "Feelings and Emotions" themed reading clubs on August 12th.
We are also looking for Grade-level Coordinators (GLCs) for the August Reading Clubs. GLCs are responsible for engaging volunteers at their grade-level tables in discussion about reading strategies and club management techniques so that the children get the most out of their reading club time. GLCs also serve as readers that morning, and they arrive at 8:30 to help the site coordinators set up. Click here to see the GLC manual.
