Comedy Night and Silent Auction at the Hollywood Improv
on August 11th!
This event will feature hilarious local comics, a goodie-laden
Silent Auction, and a night of fun with fellow fans of R2K! To learn

Appetizers will be served prior to the show. Silent Auction items will include
tickets to the Hollywood Bowl and Dodger Stadium, gift certificates for some of
the city's best restaurants, and museum memberships. Tickets to the event are
$25, and there is a two drink minimum in the showroom. Ticket sales and Silent
Auction proceeds will benefit Reading to Kids.

My Fair Lady with R2K
Be sure to join other R2K fans this weekend at the
Santa Monica Civic Light
Opera (www.smclo.org)
for a production of My Fair Lady (click on the link
for a list of showtimes). For every ticket sold in advance to a
Reading to Kids volunteer, SMCLO will donate a percentage of the ticket price to
Reading to Kids (between 20-30% depending on the number of tickets sold).
IMPORTANT --- For R2K to get credit, tickets must be
purchased in advance (up to 5 hours before each showtime). And you must mention
"Reading to Kids" when calling in (or select "Reading to Kids" as the reference
online).

Hollywood Forever Movie Night
If you receive our Update e-mails, you probably received an Evite to
attend a screening of Carrie
at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery on July 30th. If you'd like to join us, you
