Halloween offers such a great opportunity for imagination and storytelling. This year, one of my personal favorite childhood stories -- and perhaps yours -- is our October 5th Grade book: Bunnicula! The story, recounted by Harold (a dog!), describes the strange things that happen when a little rabbit named Bunnicula takes up residence with the Monroe family.
Our whole selection of October books is equally engaging. We're reading Carl Reiner's Tell Me a Scary Story...But Not Too Scary! in Third Grade and hip-hop-inspired Shake Dem Halloween Bones in First Grade. Please click here to see all of this month's books.
