Gratts Elementary
Invites You to Participate in Literacy Week
June 16 through June 20, 2003
Help shine a spotlight on the joys as well as the necessity of reading.
Evelyn Thurman Gratts Elementary School invites you to join the fun in
any of the following activities:

* Guest Readers:
|
Bring a new experience to Gratts students by reading aloud one
of your favorite books (or books available in our library) Monday-Friday for 30
minutes, to one or several classes.
|

* P.J. Read Aloud:
|
Come with your P.J.?s and teddy and blanket in hand to have some
milk and cookies and read with our students on Thursday, June 19, 2003
at 1:30 p.m.
|
|
What if you don?t have the time but would like to contribute?
Gratts Elementary would like to provide one book to each student for their home libraries.
A donation would be greatly appreciated to meet their goal of $4,000,
to cover the cost of $4 per book for
each student.
