Special Event: "Spring for R2K at the El Dorado"

More Event Info Reading to Kids thanks the El Dorado for donating the use of their restaurant and chips and salsa bar. Location: El Dorado Cantina 11777 San Vicente Blvd. Brentwood, CA 90049 (310) 207-0150 1 block east of Montana on the north side of San Vicente. Valet Parking $4.50, street parking available. Great Mexican food... from the traditional burrito to classic fish dishes. Mexican Sunday brunch with live Mariachi band. Reading to Kids thanks Tim Ramenofsky, AKA DJ Headfridge, for providing the music for this event. Tim is the Founder, President, Producer of T-Bones Records. He produced all of the records on his label, including the Grammy-nominated "Afroman." He has spun at several venues and events in the LA area, including the Austin Powers Goldmember Preview Party. Reading to Kids is hosting a special event at 7 PM on Monday, March 10, 2003 at the fabulous El Dorado restaurant in Brentwood. The event will feature music, appetizers and fun!

The centerpiece of the evening will be a silent auction, with proceeds benefiting Reading to Kids.

Tickets are $10, available at the door.

Some items up for auction include a 4-day/3-night stay (including weekend) at a Mammoth condo, a family pack for 4 to Disneyland, Adobe Photoshop 7, Lakers tickets, books, CDs and movie memorabilia. Please be prepared to pay for winning bids at the conclusion of the auction period that evening, so bring your checkbook!
