Eric Schwartz, Joy Gohring, Naro, Mark Serritella, and Shang also performed at the event.

Not to be outdone, the Silent Auction included two passes to the “Dancing with the Stars” finale, two 30 GB Video iPods, two roundtrip tickets good anywhere in the continental U. S., from Southwest Airlines, 4 VIP tickets to a “Wheel of Fortune” taping and an assortment of gift certificates and items.  Proceeds from ticket sales and the silent auction will support Reading to Kids monthly reading club program at Los Angeles area elementary schools.

“Carlos Mencia is an inspiration to much of the community we volunteer with,” said Jessica Tritsch, program director, Reading to Kids.  "We appreciate him taking time away from his hit show and busy schedule to support our work with the kids."
