VAKSBERG HAIR SALON: A CUT ABOVE THE
REST IN HELPING KIDS

In their ongoing efforts to help out a good cause, hairdressers Irene Vaksberg and Andi Scarbrough are once again teaming with a local grassroots charity to make a difference. Vaksberg, owner and founder of Vaksberg Hair Salon, has created a special program to help support Reading to Kids -– a grassroots charity that inspires children with a love of reading.

From May 18 to June 30, customers who bring in three to five new children's books to the salon (located at 7803 Beverly Blvd. in Los Angeles, CA) will receive a free haircut and blow dry from Vaksberg or Scarbrough. The books should be geared for children kindergarten through fifth grade, and will ultimately be given to the children who are served by the Reading to Kids program.

"This is a win-win situation, no doubt about it," said Vaksberg. "What could be more important than inspiring and encouraging children to read? Believe me – your hair follicles will thank you!"

Vaksberg Hair Salon, which has a long history of community service and philanthropy, is one of Los Angeles' leading hair salons for cutting-edge style and high quality service.

Reading to Kids is a grassroots organization dedicated to inspiring underserved children with a love of reading – enriching their lives and opportunities in the future. On the second Saturday of every month, Reading to Kids brings together a diverse group of volunteers from across Los Angeles to have a blast inspiring kids to read.
