Reading to Kids
thanks the members of Women Empowered who volunteer at our reading clubs.
"Women Empowered ("WE") is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization
comprised of professional women based in Los Angeles, California and surrounding
areas. WE was founded in November 2008. This organization was created to empower
women within the group as well as within our community. Our volunteer work
supports local organizations which include women's shelters for battered women
and women in poverty, mentorship of young women and girls, and arts and crafts
for children, among other volunteer efforts."
