Synopsis: Too shy to join the other children in group activities, Wilson resigns himself to doing everything alone--until the arrival at school of a new girl who does things alone too.

Craft ideas:

  • Draw a picture of Sarah's head, and inside draw and write what she was thinking about when she went up to Wilson.
  • Make a construction paper chain; on each "chain," draw and write what it means to be a good friend, then link them together.
