Synopsis: Wemberly, a little mouse girl, worries about big things, little things, and everything in between. If the radiator makes a noise, Wemberly wonders if there's a snake inside it. On Halloween, Wemberly, dressed as a butterfly, worries that there will be too many butterflies in the parade. When she's the only one, she worries about that, too.

Craft ideas:

  • Make a placemat in the shape of Wemberly's or Petal's head. Fill it with phrases or pictures describing all of the things that Wemberly worries about, and ways to feel better about those worries.
  • What do you think Petal would say to Wemberly if she could talk? Make a "Petal Puppet" out of two sheets of construction paper cut out and glued together, and role play what Petal would say to Wemberly about her worries.
