Synopsis: Runaway Bunny begins with a young bunny who decides to run away: "'If you run away,' said his mother, 'I will run after you. For you are my little bunny.'" And so begins a delightful, imaginary game of chase.

Craft ideas:

  • Make a runaway bunny puppet and take him on a new adventure. Make bunny ears for yourself and go along with him.
  • Draw the bunny and his mom on a new adventure.

*Note: These craft ideas are just suggestions. You can use them, but you don’t have to use them. You can expand upon them, or add your own twist. Remember, though, that the focus of your time should not be on the development and execution of a craft; the focus should be on the read-aloud and the enjoyment of the book!
