•  Would you still go to your paradise even if you get airsick, carsick and seasick?

Discussion topics for during/after reading:
•  What food could you eat 101 plates of?
•  What language, other than English, can you speak, read or write? How is this beneficial?
•  Where would you like to visit, real or imaginary? (Yosemite, Hawaii, Paris, Narnia, Asgard, Candyland...?) What do you think it looks like?

Craft ideas:
•  Make a mother's day card.
•  Make your own secret code by creating symbols for letters. (see pager 14-15 for example)
•  Draw your own kingdom and give names to the fountains, lakes, valleys, mountains, villages, towns etc... (see pages 24-25, 52-53, 122-123, 164-165 for examples)

*Note: These craft ideas are just suggestions. You can use them, but you don't have to use them. You can expand upon them, or add your own twist. Remember, though, that the focus of your time should not be on the development and execution of a craft; the focus should be on the read-aloud and the enjoyment of the book!
