Synopsis: A green frog has a mouth full of bright white teeth, which readers see often because he grins so much. He advises children to smile to help them get through life's ups and downs, including making friends, tricking tough guys, getting past a bad spelling test, visiting the dentist, and more.

Discussion topics: To be posted soon ...

Craft ideas:
•  Make a frog paper doll, with a T-shirt that explains why he's smiling.
•  Make a big paper smile-on-a-stick ?- the stick can be a rolled up piece of paper, taped or glued to the back of the smile.

*Note: These craft ideas are just suggestions. You can use them, but you don’t have to use them. You can expand upon them, or add your own twist. Remember, though, that the focus of your time should not be on the development and execution of a craft; the focus should be on the read-aloud and the enjoyment of the book!
