Discussion topics: To be posted soon ...

Craft ideas:
•  Make a dragon or scale bookmark to protect your books. List all of the "fire" related words and phrases from the book.
•  Make a sign for your library with all of the rules you would make if you were the librarian.
•  How did Miss Lotty become a dragon? Draw or write a pre-quel.

*Note: These craft ideas are just suggestions. You can use them, but you don’t have to use them. You can expand upon them, or add your own twist. Remember, though, that the focus of your time should not be on the development and execution of a craft; the focus should be on the read-aloud and the enjoyment of the book!
