Synopsis: When George's great-grandmother and aunt come to visit, everyone is too tired to hem Poppa's new pants, which are much too long, so he leaves them in the kitchen. During the night George hears what he thinks are three ghosts who each go to the kitchen and make snipping, rustling sounds.

Craft ideas:
•  Rewrite the ending of the story, starting from when the "ghosts" were in the kitchen.
•  Design a "pair of pants" bookmark for yourself.

*Note: These craft ideas are just suggestions. You can use them, but you don't have to use them. You can expand upon them, or add your own twist. Remember, though, that the focus of your time should not be on the development and execution of a craft; the focus should be on the read-aloud and the enjoyment of the book!
