Synopsis: In this retelling of a Mexican legend, a beautiful, strange newcomer is feared by the villagers. When they drive her away, the river, which has fallen in love with the woman's beauty, leaves with her. Thus the villagers learn the high cost of intolerance.

•  Cut out either a picture or Lucia, or just her skirt, and inside draw or write the way people should be treated as Lucia taught, or other lessons Lucia taught.
•  Make the butterflies that traveled with Lucia.
